Report to the 73rd Legislature (March 1993)
The 73rd Legislature reviewed 31 agencies, three of which were not subject to abolishment. Final action continued 22 agencies, abolished one, and abolished and transferred the functions of five. Three agencies — Public Utility Commission of Texas, Office of Public Utility Counsel, and Teacher Retirement System — were continued without changes but were scheduled for review again in 1995.
